Car Insurance Toyota (Car Insurance). Motorcycle insurance in Guam?

Motorcycle insurance in Guam? Individual has military orders to Guam and is ONLY shipping a motorcycle (no POV). Most company's I've called will only cover auto insurance and let you add a motorcycle policy to make a combo. Does anyone know of independent motorcyce insurance policies covering overseas (particularly Guam) without having to insure a vehicle along with it? Ticking sound in a 1998 Ford Explorer? I have a 1998 Ford Explorer that is having a loud ticking noise when it is cranked up. The first time it happened was when my boyfriend cranked it it backed fired, so when he recranked it, it started making the clicking/ticking noise. It has 207,000 miles on it. It also has water leaking into the oil. We thought it was a cracked head block, so we added K & W head block sealant two days ago and it is still making the ticking sound. The water is not leaking in the oil anymore though. Can anyone please help? car insurance.

Toyota . How to Install Rear Brakes on a 2002 Jetta

The worn, rear brake pads on your 2002 Volkswagen Jetta are easy to remove from the brake caliper. However, you will need a special tool to properly seat the caliper piston during the reassembly process. Have this tool, or an equivalent, on hand before working on the brakes. If you do not have one available, check with your local auto parts store. Many auto parts outlets have this and other tools available for rent.
Difficulty:Moderately Easy
Instructions Things You'll Need
Container, if necessary
Turkey baster, if necessary
Lug wrench
Floor jack
2 jack stands
2 chocks
Ratchet
Socket
Nose pliers
Heavy wire
Special tool 3272
Brake parts cleaner
Lint-free towels
New brake fluid, if necessaryRemove the Brake Pads

Step by Step :
1
Park your Jetta in a level surface away from traffic, and make sure the parking brake is not applied.
2
Open the hood and check the brake master cylinder reservoir. If the brake fluid deposit is full, remove at least 2/3 of the brake fluid into a suitable container using a clean turkey baster.
3
Loosen, but do not remove, the wheel lugs on both rear wheels using a lug wrench.
4
Raise the rear of your Jetta using a floor jack and carefully lower it on two jack stands.
5
Chock the front tires.
6
Finish removing both rear wheel/tire assemblies using the lug wrench.
7
Unscrew the two brake caliper mounting bolts using a ratchet and socket. Work on one rear brake assembly at a time.
8
Detach the two spring retainers located on each side of the brake pads on the brake-caliper mounting bracket using needle-nose pliers.
9
Lift the brake caliper from the caliper mounting bracket and brake rotor.

Step by Step :
10
Tie the brake caliper to a near suspension component using heavy wire. This will prevent the brake hose connected to the caliper from damage.

Step by Step :
11
Remove the inboard and outboard brake pads from the brake caliper.

Step by Step :
12
Seat the brake caliper piston into its cylinder using special tool 3272 or equivalent.
Install the New Brake Pads

Step by Step :
1
Spray the rear brake assembly with brake parts cleaner and wipe the assembly with a clean, lint-free towel.
2
Install the new inboard and outboard brake pads in the brake caliper.
3
Untie the brake caliper from the suspension.
4
Install the brake caliper on its mounting bracket and brake rotor.
5
Attach the two spring retainers to each side of the brake pads on the brake-caliper mounting bracket by hand.
6
Install and tighten the two brake caliper mounting bolts using the ratchet and socket.
7
Replace the brake pads on the opposite rear brake assembly following steps 7 from the previous section through step 6 of this section.
8
Install the rear wheel/tire assemblies and tighten the wheel lugs just enough to properly seat the wheels on the hub studs.
9
Lower your Jetta using the floor jack.

Step by Step :
10
Finish tightening the wheel lugs and remove the chocks from the front wheels.

Step by Step :
11
Refill the brake master cylinder reservoir with new brake fluid, if necessary.

Toyota . How to Install Rear Brake Pads on a Honda

A high-pitched squeaking coming from the rear of your Honda while slowing is a clear indicator that your rear brake pads are in need of replacement. If left to wear further, the rear brake pads will eventually damage the brake rotor as the pad material wears away, leaving only the pad's metal backing plate to contact the brake rotor. Extensive damage can be inflicted on the rotor's surface once the brake pads have reached this point, necessitating costly repairs. Additionally, worn-out brake pads create a safety hazard, reducing your Honda's ability to brake efficiently and safely.
Difficulty:Moderate
Instructions Things You'll Need
Wheel chocks
Socket set and socket wrench
Breaker bar
Jack
Aerosol brake cleaner
Brake pads

Step by Step :
1
Park the car on a smooth, level surface and place a wheel chock behind both front wheels. Do not engage the parking brake.
2
Loosen the rear wheels' lug nuts with a breaker bar and a socket. Lift the rear end of the car off the ground with a jack. Completely unscrew the lug nuts from the rear wheels with a socket wrench and pull the wheels away from the car.
3
Remove the dust cover from the rear brake calipers, using a socket wrench to unbolt the pair of mounting bolts that secure the cover. Unbolt the bolts on the top and bottom of the rear caliper with a socket wrench, and pull the caliper off the brake rotor. Place the caliper on the rear axle or support it with a bungee cord to prevent the possibility of damaging the brake lines.
4
Pull the brake pads off of the caliper's mounting bracket, one on each side of the brake rotor. Spray the brake rotor, caliper and mounting bracket with an aerosol brake cleaner to remove any dirt and dust buildup. Place a new set of brake pads onto the caliper's mounting bracket and press them into place.
5
Hold the brake caliper in one hand and twist the piston on the inner face of the caliper clockwise by hand until it retracts into the caliper. Take care not to damage the rubber boot that protects the bottom of the piston. Slide the caliper onto its mounting bracket and over the brake rotor and pads.
6
Insert and tighten the brake caliper mounting bolts with a socket wrench. Place the dust cover over the brake caliper and tighten the cover's mounting bolts with a socket wrench.
7
Place the rear wheel onto the axle, and tighten all lug nuts with a socket wrench. Repeat on the opposite side of the car.
Tips & Warnings
Loosen the lug nuts before lifting the car with a jack. This will allow you to use the weight of the car to increase your leverage on the lug nuts.

5. Put away the jacking stuff and the old tire. 6. Drive happily into the sunset. But the job gets sticky in a couple of places. Unless you're properly equipped, you can find yourself out of luck and in for a long wait for help to come along. The following sections explain in detail, and in order, how to change a tire. To make sure that you have the tools you need, read the section called "More Things to Carry in Your Car" in Chapter 2, and then stock up. If you own a luxury car with an air suspension, you need to turn the system off before jacking up your car. Vehicles with air suspensions have an on/off switch located in the trunk area. 126 Car Insurance hyundai sonata 2002 glssedan4d 94509

Remoitinq a hubcap If you have an older car that still has hubcaps (instead of the wheel covers on more recent models), the first task in changing a tire — after you pull to the side of the road and finish banging the heel of your hand against the steering wheel in frustration — is to remove the hubcap of the injured tire. The following steps tell you how: 1. Use a screwdriver or the flat end of a lug wrench (see Figure 2-20 in Chapter 2) to pry off the hubcap. Just insert the point of the tool where the edge of the cap meets the wheel, and apply a little leverage (see Figure 1-3). The cap should pop off. You may have to do this in a couple of places; it's like prying the lid off a can of paint. . Chapter 1: Things Every Driver Should Know O 1 Figure 1-3: You can use a screwdriver to pry a hubcap loose. 2. Lay the cap on its back so that you can put the lug nuts into it to keep them from rolling away and heading for the nearest sewer. After you remove the hubcap, the next task is to loosen the lug nuts. Loosening the tug nuts

Toyota . A car traveling 60 miles per hour how many feet does need to stop?

*
Lug nuts are those big nuts that hold the wheel in place. Most garages retighten them with a power tool, and unless you've done the job yourself by hand, they're going to be pretty hard to loosen. (Take my advice in Chapter 2 and buy a cross-shaft lug wrench. Figure 2-20 shows what one looks like.) Before you begin, you have to ascertain whether the lug nuts on the wheel you're working on are right-hand threaded or left-hand threaded. This isn't a "left-handed hammer" joke; the threads determine which way you turn the wrench. The lug nuts on the right side of a vehicle are always right-hand threaded, but the nuts on the left side may be left-hand threaded. Look at the lug nuts on your car; in the center of the lugs you should see an R, an L, or no letter at all: I V A lug with an R or with no letter is right-threaded. Turn it counterclockwise to loosen it.

Toyota . Does your car have to be tuned after installing air conditioning?

*
V A lugs with an L is left-threaded. Turn it clockwise to loosen it. For the purposes of sanity, I'll assume that your car has right-threaded nuts. If you have a couple of lefties, just turn the wrench in the opposite direction as you follow these steps to loosen the lug nuts: 1. Find the end of the wrench that fits the lug nuts on your car, and fit it onto the first nut. Part I: Getting Started. Always work on lug nuts in rotation. That way, you won't forget to tighten any later. 2. Apply all your weight to the bar on the left. This starts turning the nut counterclockwise, which loosens it. If the nut has been put on with a power tool and you can't get it started, a piece of hollow pipe, fitted over that left-hand arm of the cross-shaft wrench, magically adds enough leverage to start the nut easily (see Figure 1-4). After you replace the nut yourself, this aid is no longer necessary. But remember, the longer the arms on your lug wrench, the more leverage you have. Figure 1-4:

Toyota . Can windshield chip be repaired in the drivers field of vision?

yes if its no bigger than the size of a quarter
*
A hollow pipe and a cross-shaft wrench can loosen the tightest lug nuts. Don't remove the lug nuts completely; just get them loose enough so that you can remove them by hand after raising the car (a feat explained in an earlier section of this chapter, "The Safe Way to Use a Jack"). Changing the tire Once the vehicle is safely jacked up and the lug nuts are off, follow these instructions to change the tire: 1. Remove the spare from the trunk if you haven't already done so. Actually, it's easier to do this before jacking up the car. If you haven't checked your spare recently, keep your fingers crossed that it has enough air in it! Roll the spare to the scene of the action. 2. Grasp the flat tire with both hands and pull it toward you. The flat tire sits on the exposed bolts that the lug nuts screwed onto. As you pull the flat off, it should slide along the bolts until, suddenly, it . Chapter 1: Things Every Driver Should Know O 2
